1. Class I (Basic):
- Suitable for simple ventilation needs.
- Usually provides basic ventilation modes, such as volume-controlled ventilation (VCV) and pressure-controlled ventilation (PCV).
- The monitoring function is relatively basic and may only include parameters such as tidal volume, respiratory rate and airway pressure.
- Suitable for small clinics or low-complexity anesthesia scenarios.
2. Class II (Intermediate):
- Provides more ventilation modes and monitoring functions.
- May include advanced modes such as pressure support ventilation (PSV) and synchronized intermittent mandatory ventilation (SIMV).
- The monitoring function is more comprehensive and may include end-tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2), oxygen concentration (FiO2), etc.
- Suitable for medium-complexity anesthesia and intensive care scenarios.
3. Class III (Advanced):
- Provides the most comprehensive ventilation modes and monitoring functions.
- Includes advanced ventilation modes such as Bi-level positive airway pressure (BiPAP) and Adaptive Support Ventilation (ASV).
- Monitoring capabilities are very comprehensive and may include advanced hemodynamic monitoring, lung mechanics analysis, etc.
- Suitable for highly complex anesthesia and critical care scenarios, such as cardiac surgery or patients with severe respiratory failure.
